287_Replacement Dwelling

This project saw the remodelling of a tired and dated 1970’s bungalow in Curbar into a beautiful two storey family home that enhances the plot and takes full advantage of the of the surrounding views with a glazed gable looking towards Froggatt Edge.

The final design involves a more traditional building shape and a steeper pitched roof which is more in keeping with traditional Peak District Architecture, whilst opening up internal areas to create contemporary spaces including a fantastic kitchen, dining and family space.
