138_listed farmhouse extension and restoration

Sensitive renovation and extension of a Grade II listed farmhouse which had become derelict and dilapidated property over the past decade. The farmhouse dates back to the 1720's and is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It has been extended twice: once in the 1750's and again in the 1850's. The practice designed proposals which provide accommodation suitable for C21st living without the loss of historic fabric. The clients wished to make this their lifetime family home and preserve it for future generations.
