Hibernate was born out of the InBloom bar as Manchester transitioned into colder months. With the view of trading through January, modifications to InBloom's covered external area, with a solid roof and fire pits installed to provide warmth. A skate hire marquee was integrated into the extended linear building form, maximising income. The interiors were designed to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere with Scandinavian influences.

Redevelopment of the InBloom summer bar into Hibernate, a warm cosy retreat from Manchester's winter weather. The bar overlooked the winter markets and ice rink throughout the christmas period of 2013.
