Darwent Architecture were commissioned in 2014 by Allied London along with Igloo Design to investigate a number of different use opportunities for the former Granada Studios site in Manchester. This involved feasibility studies such as:

• Transformation of the Starlight Theatre into an Indian wedding venue
• Use of the arches as a bakery or gin distillery
• Multi use of the central spaces and Rovers Return as events spaces and tours
• Use of the former set workshops as an arts venue and food market
