In a successive joint venture with Evans & Peel, the former Indian restaurant has been remodelled with the concept of a hidden restaurant masked as an apothecary-style pharmacy.
At the establishment, customers are greeted by the pharmacist and gain entry to the restaurant via an openable kiosk. The element of surprise is maintained by the use of electronically controlled glass with adjustable opacity on the unit's frontage. Contrary to conventional food and drink establishments, the design emphasises its discreet entry sequence as part of the experience.
