The brief for this project is to create 5no. one-bedroom units within the original bays of the former Bakewell Railway Station.
As the building is Grade II listed, the planning application required a fully considered scheme with construction details. The scheme includes two-storey units with upper mezzanines pulled back to form sleeping decks and bathrooms. Small gardens are to be formed to the trackside with corten steel styled planters and new paving. Paving is also introduced to the west in the scheme to allow residents and guests to sit in the afternoon sun.
