097_contemporary listed farmhouse extension

A contemporary extension to a Grade II listed former farmhouse that respects and responds to the existing site. Set within grounds used for equestrian purposes, the mid-18th century building has been extended to the south-east elevation to provide a spacious kitchen/dining space with views to the property's gardens. An existing gritstone garden wall has been integrated within the design, creating a seamless transition between the original dwelling and the extension on the building's most prominent facade. New glazed bi-fold doors open out onto an extended terrace, blending the indoors and outdoors.
